Grieving The Loss Of Our Dogs Resourcefully – Part 2 – 007

In DLU Podcast, Dog Lovers Unleashed podcast by Julie Miller1 Comment

Quick Summary:

In this episode (007), I continue part 2 of the interview with Silke Herwald, who is a grief specialist and works with people who are grieving the loss of their beloved dogs.  Silke takes me through an exercise to demonstrate the power of a tool she uses to help dog parents grieve more resourcefully. I personally experienced a powerful shift. We discuss considerations of when and if to get another dog after the loss of a beloved dog, as well as what can be useful to say to a friend who is grieving the loss of their dog.  I trust that this interview series is going to help many dog parents in the world. Please pass it on.

  1. Thank you for this podcast. I just lost my beloved Bailey after a 6 month battle w/cancer. He almost made it to 12. His brother, Harley is suffering with hip arthritis and know it won’t be too much longer till we have to put him to sleep. My heart is sooo raw and wounded.
